George E. Morgan, M.D.
Dr. George Morgan is a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his Doctor of Medicine from University of Illinois at Chicago in 1984. He completed his internal medicine residency in 1987 and gastroenterology fellowship in 1990 from Loyola University. He was also Chief Medical Resident at Loyola from 1987-88. Dr. Morgan is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He also is Medical Director, Clinical Informatics at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital.
Dr. Morgan has a special interest in esophageal disorders and medical informatics. He also performs ablation of Barrett's esophagus.
He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Morgan is recognized by both US News and World Report and Castle Connolly as a top doctor in gastroenterology. He was recognized as one of Chicago's Top Doctors by Chicago Magazine.
